Choose the complete M21 cartridge reference and keep the printer’s full name. Brady’s guide covers M210, M210-LAB, M211, BMP21-PLUS and BMP21-LAB, with exceptions printed beside particular products.
The pre-sized entries and B-581 repositionable entries are marked M210/M211 only. Do not transfer those recommendations to BMP21-PLUS simply because the cartridge reference begins M21.
Material number and cartridge number are different
B-499 describes nylon material. M21-750-499 selects a specific M21 cartridge and size. Another cartridge series can use the same material without fitting an M21 printer.
The guide lists nylon cloth, self-laminating vinyl, polyester, permanent vinyl, heat-shrink sleeves and laboratory materials. Those choices solve different application problems; they are not colour alternatives.
Continuous and pre-sized labels
Continuous tape lets you choose label length within the printer’s functions. Pre-sized supplies contain individual label shapes and need the supported printer and matching format.
A BMP21-PLUS recommendation in this catalogue uses entries without the M210/M211-only restriction. The older BMP21 without PLUS has additional limits; retain PLUS in a search.
Use the complete colour and pack suffix
M21 all-weather references can include a colour suffix, and multi-packs have their own references. Compare the full SKU, material and dimensions rather than trimming the code to its first three groups.
Use Brady Authentic cartridges as specified by the manufacturer. If the printer rejects a supply, check the exact reference and the stated exception before trying another cartridge.
