Fit and restrictions

The PT-D210 accepts Brother TZe cassettes in 3.5, 6, 9 and 12 mm widths. Brother lists standard laminated, Flexible ID, extra-strength adhesive, iron-on fabric and non-laminated options.

  • 12 mm is the cassette-width limit; a genuine 18 or 24 mm TZe cassette is too wide.
  • TZe-231 is a documented 12 mm black-on-white option; the consumables table also lists other colours and materials.
  • This discontinued printer still has an official consumables table; discontinued hardware does not make every old cassette interchangeable.
Restrictions
  • DK rolls, DYMO D1 and Epson LabelWorks cassettes use other systems.

Fit and restrictions

The PT-D610BT prints on Brother TZe tape up to 24 mm wide. Its official consumables list identifies exact colour, finish and width references, including the 24 mm TZe-251 black-on-white cassette.

  • Accepted widths run from 3.5 to 24 mm; 36 mm tape is outside the limit.
  • A printed label can have margins: tape width is not the same as maximum print height.
  • Use the exact consumables entry for decorative ribbon, fabric and specialist adhesive choices.
Restrictions
  • The automatic cutter does not make every material suitable for every use. Follow the material instructions.
  • Do not treat HGe, HSe or DK as aliases for TZe.

Brother’s UK consumables table for the PT-3600 lists TZe cassettes from 3.5 to 36 mm and specific STe stencil cassettes. The table separates material, colour, width and length.

  • TZe-261 is a listed 36 mm black-on-white laminated cassette.
  • STe-141, STe-151 and STe-161 are specific stencil options; STe is a distinct media type.
  • Premium, ribbon and short-roll entries can have different lengths despite similar colour names.
Restrictions
  • A 36 mm cassette listed for the PT-3600 will not fit a PT-D210 or PT-D610BT.
  • The UK list does not establish US pack availability or substitutions.
